Greater things can be achieved when working together and supporting cross-border exchange of know-how. At Shokkin Group International we invite youth organizations based in Europe to candidate to join the network as full members and make a bigger social impact.

Membership Value

Being a member organization of Shokkin Group International delivers a set of opportunities for
organizational development, international cooperation and a community of international
professionals from the field of youth work. In 2020 we concentrate on developing innovative
projects in the youth work field, sharing our methods among members and beyond as well as
providing insights into international youth work. To know more what you get while being a

As a member of SGI you receive:

  •  Access to special intellectual outputs to support internal development of the organization
    and its international and local activities;
  • Access to quality need-based training proposals for organizational development that are
    developed based on member’s needs and desires;
  • Access to the yearly general assembly and network development events where members
    share tools/methods/know-how in their areas of expertise;
  • A vote in the general assembly and possibility to contribute to the SGI management;
  • Partnership proposals in KA2 Strategic Partnerships, CoE and other projects;
  • Raised visibility of work of the organization at an international level;

As a member organization you can initiate to:

  • Host quality projects in cooperation with SGI trainers;
  • Develop quality ESC projects to host or send young volunteers;
  • Send your members to a job shadowing project to other SGI members;
  • Consult an international board in case of need;
  • Join international board meetings to discuss relevant issues;
  • Propose your representative to take up a role in the SGI board.

Membership in the network is on a yearly basis and each organization is required to follow the
developed codes of conduct and support the network through the established membership
funding scheme.
