On 4th and 5th February, 2021, Awesome People implemented the online international dissemination conference in the strategic partnership “PiFbase international” where they presented the intellectual outputs produced in the project. The two-day online dissemination conference provided youth workers/educators and project managers from all over Europe with insights about innovative methods to involve underrepresented groups of young people in social entrepreneurship activities.
Professionalization of Youth workers
The theme was connected to IO1 containing:
– 1 General coaching handbook for youth workers to get the basic knowledge of coaching;
– 1 PiFbase Process handbook for coaches who are using the developed PiFbase method with step-by-step instructions and session outlines;
– 1 PiFbase Toolkit with handouts, cards, and other tools to use in the PiFbase process and other youth work activities;
– 1 Coach it Forward Training package for the partner organizations to coach new coaches.
Learning and Reflection in Youth Work
The theme was connected to IO2 containing:
– 1 General Learning- and Reflection book for youth workers to get the basic knowledge and theory of learning and reflection. Included is also a unique inventory of reflection tools that can be used for different youth work activities;
– 1 PiFbase Process Learning- and Reflection book for coachee/participant who are involved in the PiFbase process to document their learning and reflection.
Social Inclusion and diversity in Youth Work
The theme was connected to IO3 containing:
– 1 Training package for social inclusion for youth organizations to learning about social inclusion with non-formal learning methods and design thinking theory.
– 1 Game for social inclusion for youth workers and organizations to get inspired by and information of best practices in the area of social inclusion of different target groups to improve their work for social inclusion. The game provides an immersive way of doing so.
– 1 Video with Voices from youngsters on why they get involved in youth work activities to inspire other young people and to give youth workers insights on what they should focus on.
Quality in Youth Work
The theme was connected to IO4 containing:
– 1 Quality Assurance Toolkit for youth organizations to develop their own quality criteria to self-assess whether their activities are weak, satisfactory, good, or excellent;
– 1 PiFbase Quality Assurance Toolkit to self-assess the quality using the PiFbase method with a set of criteria for coaches, organizations, and coachees (youth).
